TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
If you are involved in a traffic accident:
1. Call the police if the accident involves more than two vehicles, participants disagree on the circumstances, one or more participants are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, people are injured, the car is heavily damaged, or property damage occurs (to buildings, signs, structures, trees, etc.). In Latvia, dial 110, and abroad, dial 911.
2. Complete a traffic accident declaration. You can do this online. For the declaration, you’ll need your mandatory insurance policy number, which can be found here. If the accident occurs abroad, either a Latvian or another EU member state declaration may be used. 3. Inform MyBee of any damage to the car within 1 business day by email at serviss@mybee.lv. Provide the following:
· A copy of the traffic accident declaration.
· A scanned or photographed vehicle registration certificate.
· A copy of the driver’s license.
· Photos of the car’s damage.
If the car is no longer roadworthy, contact roadside assistance and arrange for a replacement vehicle.
VEHICLE MALFUNCTIONS
If your car breaks down: Report any malfunctions or warning lights by email at serviss@mybee.lv or by phone at +371 282 33888. We will direct you to a MyBee partner service center for an inspection and repairs.
If the car cannot be driven due to the malfunction, contact roadside assistance. More information is available here.
For damaged vehicle glass: Report any glass damage to MyBee within 1 business day by email at serviss@mybee.lv or by phone at +371 282 33888. We’ll assess the situation and direct you to a partner service center for glass repair or replacement.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
If your car breaks down on the road, roadside assistance is available 24/7. In Latvia or abroad, call MyBee at +371 282 33888, and you’ll be connected to a roadside assistance partner.
Roadside assistance is valid throughout geographical Europe (excluding Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine) and includes:
· A specialist visit and minor repairs (engine start, tire change, fuel delivery, emergency door unlocking). These services are covered by insurance. Service value limits: €500 abroad, no limit in Lithuania.
· Vehicle transportation to the nearest service center if the journey cannot continue. Service value limits: €500 abroad, no limit in Lithuania.
· A CityBee voucher or replacement car if needed.
REPLACEMENT VEHICLE
If your MyBee vehicle requires repairs, we will evaluate the need for a replacement car based on the repair duration and offer the best solution, such as another MyBee car, a CityBee voucher, or an alternative option. MANDATORY TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE
Regular technical maintenance is performed on the vehicle as per the manufacturer's requirements. When it’s time for maintenance, MyBee will send you an email reminder with instructions on how to schedule an appointment. If you are unsure whether your car requires maintenance, contact MyBee by email at serviss@mybee.lv or call +371 282 33888.
It is your responsibility to schedule and bring the vehicle to the designated service center on time. Failure to do so may void the vehicle warranty, and additional penalties may apply.
Important:
· If you opted for the “Technical Maintenance and Wear-and-Tear Repairs” service (check your contract for this information), inform the service center after maintenance has been performed.
· Regardless of whether you have this service, request a copy of the invoice from the service center after the maintenance is completed and send it to MyBee following the instructions provided in the email. This confirms that the required maintenance has been performed.
Who covers the maintenance costs?
· If you have selected the "Technical Maintenance and Wear-and-Tear Repairs" service, all costs are covered by MyBee.
· If you have not selected this service, you must cover the maintenance costs yourself before leaving the service center.
TECHNICAL INSPECTION
MyBee vehicles are required to undergo periodic technical inspections. If the inspection is due during your subscription period, MyBee will notify you via email one month before the deadline.
· It is your responsibility to schedule and attend the inspection.
· The inspection visit typically takes up to 30 minutes.
Before the inspection, remember to bring:
· Your driver’s license.
· The vehicle registration certificate.
TIRES AND TIRE REPLACEMENT
If you have selected the "Tire Change and Storage" service, MyBee will take care of everything. Before the tire change season, you will receive a reminder email with all the necessary information.
If you did not opt for this service, you are responsible for ensuring the vehicle has season-appropriate tires and arranging their replacement and storage.
Tire seasons (in Latvia):
· Winter tires: December 1 to March 1.
· Summer tires: March 1 to December 1.
TRAVELING ABROAD
You may travel within the EU with a MyBee car for up to three months. Notify MyBee of your trip at least 3 business days in advance by emailing info@mybee.lv.
For travel outside the EU, a written permit from MyBee is required. This permit costs €30 and must also be requested at least 3 business days before departure.
